Springish

It is an absolutely wonderful day.
The weather is gorgeous. Around 60 probably.
More importantly, I had a math midterm and a French presentation for that I had no preparation for (either of the two), and everything worked out. I don't know what I got on my midterm, but it felt really super easy, and I had no doubts about anything, which feels kind of unreal. Also, my French professor has always kind of regarded me as being a little slow, I think, but I really impressed her with the presentation on a movement to reform French elementary schools, so that's good.
Also, I got the results of my blood test back today and I am negative for all these crazy things they thought I might have. Don't worry, nothing life-threatening or even particularly interesting, but still good to get negative test results anyway.

I miss you nattily.org. I never do anything with you. You need a revamp. I wish I had an idea for a new layout or quiz or something.

Does anyone still visit this site besides me?

Spring Quarter

Two weeks into spring quarter and things are looking good. I decided to drop my Hum class, because the teacher was kind of a joke, and it just wasn't as interesting as the first two quarters had been. Plus it doesn't even count towards my core if I do Civ in Paris.

Analysis is kicking my ass. That's actually the work I'm avoiding at this moment. But really, how am I supposed to concentrate in that class when my teacher keeps talking about shrinking balls? Why am I the only person to laugh at that?

---

I went to see Body Worlds 2 at the Museum of Science and Industry with Matt and his family. The exhibit was pretty badass and his family was very cool, but I can safely say I embarrassed myself, well, more than I ever have before.
We were walking through the exhibit, looking at arms and fingers in glass cases, and suddenly I got really hot and really dizzy. I looked up, said "I don't feel good," and then everything went black. I mean, I didn't lose consciousness, just...everything went black. I couldn't see anything at all, and all the sounds around me were muffled. Matt had grabbed my arm to keep me from falling over, and he just kind of shoved me through a bunch of people towards a wall where I sat down and my vision came back after a few minutes. I felt fine, so I stood up to walk over to a bench on the other side of the room, but it happened again, and I sort of collapsed by another wall.
I eventually managed to get to the bench, and just chilled out for a while, and I was fine and saw the rest of the gallery and everything.

But seriously, this was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. When it happened in the shower that one day Greg's dad said if I ever felt it happening again, to just sit down wherever I was, because I was going to end up on the floor one way or another and it might as well be voluntary. But once I started feeling dizzy, I couldn't move my legs. I couldn't have sat down. I know this must sound pretty ridiculous and like I am way overreacting, but I just don't know what would have happened if I had been alone without someone to stop me from fainting onto some dead guy.
