Naked

Naked. The whole time. Trying not to be embarrassed.

Things that happened while I was naked:

Will came into my bed and jumped on me. He wanted to know some juicy gossip about me and Jon because he and Olivia had run out of things to talk about, and all they ever did was talk about Jon anyway.

I carried somebody piggy-back across a bridge.

I went to a gas station.

I walked over to the craft store with Gabe and my parents. All my Vero friends (Alex, Geordie, Alton, Sreya, Ben, Thomas, Shanna...everybody) were sitting outside chilling because it was their spring break. I chilled with them, but realized I was naked, so sat all huddled up. Then Aaron Franke came over and made fun of me. What a bastard. Then all my old boyfriends from middle and high school who never got to see me naked came over. I'm talking Billy Powell, Matthew McAdams, even Logan Dritenbas, who was never actually my boyfriend, just a really close friend in elementary school. Then Greg showed up and looked at me with some serious disdain. At this point I realized I need clothes. NOW. I told Gabe to get my parents to buy me some clothes inside the craft store. (I should mention here that my dad was actually Mr. Mccorrison, from eighth grade.) Instead of buying me clothes, they proceeded to form a bluegrass band and people threw clothing items at them instead of money, then Gabe would toss those to me. I ended up wearing some ballet tights, bike shorts, and a jean jacket that would have fit me perfectly when I was six. Then I realized I was actually in my own house and could have just walked into my room and gotten some of my own clothes to wear a long time ago.

Decisions

So I went home and visited some teachers over the course of two days.

Day 1: Visit Erfurt. Chat for a while, give him crap for not sending me pictures of Baby. Then he says, "Hey, state MAO is in two days, you want to come?"
"Sure. I think a few other kids will be home then, Joe, Alton. We can all crash the math competition, it will be entertaining."

Day 2: Visit Doc and Robb. The room is already filled with our group of kids. Joe and Alton, but also Nick, Fegerts, Tom, Sreya, and maybe others. We are all catching up, and Doc says, "Hey, state masterminds is tomorrow, you guys want to come?"
There is a general consent and everyone is pretty excited. Then I say, "Actually, I told Erf some of us might go to math state with him."
Doc replies, "Shhhhh, nobody needs to tell him anything."
Everyone else nods, I give a very confused look and wonder why the hell a bunch of college kids are so excited about going to high school academic competitions anyway.
