I'm, you know, an undergrad. I have to write a lot. This is some of the stuff I have written. You are probably an undergrad, too, so you get it.

Cognitive Linguistics

Sring Quarter 2008. My first linguistics class was very touchy-feely, but also had really fun stuff to write about, and dare I say it? Fun stuff to read.

Regular Old Linguistics

Then there is real linguistics, not so smooshy. So far only had to write one paper, but if I encounter any particularly interesting homeworks I might put them up, too. Sorry, I just think linguistics is pretty cool. LOL! (That lol has a purpose, clicky the link and read.)

Humanities Core

Fall 2006, Winter 2007. UChicago does not have a freshman writing seminar. It does require two to three quarters of a HUMA course, which is basically a freshman writing seminar expect with ancient greek texts thrown in for good measure. I took the sequence with the least amout of Plato and Homer, and the most amout of pretty things to look at: Media Aesthetics. These papers are interesting because you can see how I got more and more comfortable talking at length about sexuality in a formal way.

Pre-College

Summer 1988 through Summer 2006. Ok, mostly just my college application essays from senior year. If I find anything from when I was three that proves how much of a genius I am I'll put it up here.
